Wheels that look good at stock ride height?
What kind of wheels look alright on a non-lowered Camaro?
Reason I ask is I believe I'm going to build my car to compete in the F-stock class in SCCA SoloII, so basically no changing of the springs... mean stock height.
I want to get some wheels/tires for daily driving and I'll slap some R-compound tires on the stock salad shooters since they're light(and conform to the must be stock sized wheels rule ).
I know I photoshopped a load of wheels on my car a while ago, I'm pretty sure I'll do the graphite-painted TTIIs w/ 275/315 purely for looks.
I felt I would start a thread that hasn't been posted yet because I'm sure there's gotta be SOMEONE out there that doesn't want to lower their car for some reason or another.

You can get by with 17s on the stock ride height. You may be able to remove the rubber spring isolator and change to a Koni shock in Solo II....then you could drop the car by about 3/4" all the way around (Konis SA have a lower spring perch) and the 17s would look nice. Incedentally, I hear that a 17" rim works best for autocrossing the f-body.

That looks amazing!
Did the larger than stock diameter screw with ABS at all? I would normally just remove it if it presented a problem, but I think I am not allowed to mess with it if I want to auto X is the factory stock class

Are there a lot of other people in FS where you are?
I find it more fun competing in classes I'm not set up for. Then when I win, people get really pissed that my car is practically stock. (All I have is an LSD and Victoracers.) I usually run in SM or ESP.
