Default Looking For Black Rims - Something Unique?

For my graduation present, or by G.E.D present, depending on how motivated I'am the rest of the year. I will be getting rims and tires, because I would probably never get around to them considering the price... and the fact that I'm poor.

I know for sure that I want something in black, probably 17x9.5 all the way around, with GoodYear Eagle GS-D3 tires, or maybe something a little cheaper depending on what is spent on rims. From the searching on websites, as well as search engines... I really can't find anything that really appears to Me.

I like ZR1's, and Z06's... but they're a little too common for Me, they are great rims so that's why a lot of people run them... espically in a college town such as the one I live in. So I would like to find a quality rim, that isn't insanily priced... and looks unique. I like the 5 spoke style and similar, not a big fan of Evo's and BBS stuff on my car.

I'm basically looking for some places to look for the rims I want, besides Ebay and TireRack etc. Anyone have some pics, or ideas? Anything really?

I like those too... never seen them before. But where can you get them for our cars? It looks like they only make the offset in chrome, not in black.

According to the specs on ar.com the blacks are 18x10, +41 offset, 7 1/8 BS, and 5-4 3/4 bolt pattern. They should fit really good. It looks like the widest tire you could run would be a 295 in the rear and a 275 in the front...but thats pushing it.

The offset is way off on the 17 x 9s but I've seen quite a few people running them without any issues.

I'm still gathering information but my initial plans were to run 17s up front and the 18s in the rear.

Edit: I just found some info from guys that know a lot more about wheels than I do.

From Xsta Z 28
I have answered quite a few ?'s in regards to the Rebel wheel. The 18" x 10" with a 41 mm offset whould fit the rear of an F-body just fine, I have reservations on if they will fit up front or not. Tires a 295 will fit in back but again I think a 295 is pushing the boundries . . .
From Todd@DiscountTireDirect

10 +41 works in the rear....285 tire. 295 you will need to roll. 10 +41 up front is realllllly pushin it with a 275 tire.

i just bought some 17inch ss rims and im getting them painted black. iv seen them on 2 different white camaros and they look sick! ss wheels are inexpensive compared to other wheels but they look incredible painted black, then you can have some money for badass tires

My original plan was to run the 10 Spoke SS rims, coated black... but I've steered away from it, and want to buy a rim that is black from the get-go. It sounds like I could make the Rebel work, and I do really like them... but I'm going to continue the search for now, considering I have a little bit of time before I have to make a decision. I wish there were more places that make rims for cars like ours, everything seems to be "Tuner" focused, besides American Racing, Boyd, Foose etc.

I was doing some looking around and found some Hot Wheels Sixty-Eight. Yeah, I said Hot Wheels, kinda weird... but they look pretty nice and are reasonable, plus I've never seen them before. Anyone have any information on the quality?

Ps. Appologies on the double post.

Just have your stock rims painted black. It's cheap, looks good, and it is unique. I did that with my 96 ws6 and got some yokohama avs es100 tires and it looked 100 times better and meaner than before.

I have the crappy stock Salad Shooters, which look bad no matter what you do with them. If I had a new Camaro with decent rims from the factory, I would have something to work with.

I would think about painting them black, but I plan on trading them in once I get my new rims... also, it doesn't look that great most of the time. I think I'm going to just stick with my ZR1's, I might consider running 17x11 in the rear with 315's, I also plan on running BFGoodrich T/A KDW tires, instead of the GoodYears, can't beat the price on those KDW's. Any other pics of black wheels would be great still :-).
