i bought my chrome 10 spokes 2 years ago this may, fking montreal roads, i just found out bent one rim a tiny bit from a damn pothole! and i store the car in the winter just to show you how bad the roads here are!

 

I think your figures are off.....bad. While I concede that there are lots of people with z06 wheels, you can't seriously think there are more z06's than the wheels that come with the car.

i think when he says that 90 % of people have them, he is referring to the people that drive SS' s or Z-28's, no v6's. It's pretty popular in my hometown and in college station TX. It is very common. just notice next time you drive.

 

thats a good point nintres...I think there HAS to be way more 10-spokes out there, just about as many as there are SS's right. Did every SS come with 10-spokes?

 

No, my SS came with ZR1's. I think it stopped in 2000?

Oh, and I've seen less than a handfull of z06 wheels on camaros. Don't know where you get your figures either..

also depending on the color of the vehicle i think it depends on z06 or ss rims, personally on black and red cars z06's look better, but on blue and white etc chrome ss rims for me imo

 

i just got a set of chrome SS 10 spokes for 400 dollars because i didnt wanna be like every other SS out there plus it keeps your SS original looking...

 

I like both wheels but I have the ZR1's.

 

I am getting feedback on both, so does anyone know where I can get a nice set of either of them from. It looks like SLP no longer sells the 10-spokes, does anyone know of another place I could get a set from. I know about TomZwheels for the Z06 wheels if I decide on those, but I am leaning more toward the SS wheels so if anyone has any info let me know, thanks.

I'm going to go with chrome Z06's on my SS. I just hope they don't chip and peel like the chrome 10 spokes that are on the car now.

 

I decided to go with Z06s too, they're just easier to get new. I'd like to keep a stock look too but I figure Z06s are still in the same chevy family so close enough.
Buying used 10 spokes from across the country is iffy at best. If I could find a clean set local I would but I got to see them first.
Now to decide chrome or painted? 17" or 18"? I have chrome 16" 5 stars now so I'm leaning towards chrome.

 

yea z06 chrome wheels are bad *** looking . thats what i went with and im very glad i did

 

I just bought a set of chrome 18" Z06s w/ tires & rotors! from another member last week, love'em. Gotta get some new pics now.

Chrome 10 spokes....love them although mine are starting to flake and pit pretty bad. Need to start looking for some better ones.
