Default can you use 15x8 rims on a 98 camaro in the front?

on a ls1 camaro with the bigger brakes than a lt1

can you use 15x8 rims in the front with spacers

and not have your tires/rims hangin outside the fenders

in the front? this is my every day car and i need to rotate my

tires so i want the same rim and tires all the way around

I am looking at a set of cragar street stars

15x8 with a 5.25 back spacing 5 x 4.75

a guy locally has a set of these for sale

http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=egnsearch.asp

and I was wondering what hurdles i am goign to have to jump if i

buy them besides shaving the calipers in the rear . and when I am

all done are they going to stick outside the fenders kinda like

convo pros do?

is it even possible to use a 15x8 rim on the front of a ls1 car

if you are limited by a 5.25" backspacing?

it seems like the fornt brakes just wouldnt clear.

i was thinking they will windup stickin outside the fenders

am i wrong?

Default

They won't clear the front brakes. If you could see how much you have to grind off to make the 15x3.5s with 1.75" bs fit then you'd know why. If you go to 15s you just won't be able to rotate. But the 165R15 tires are usually $25-30 a piece so it's not too big of a deal.
