Here ya go.
I just roughed them up with some 800-1000 git sandpaper and taped the lip off and went to town with some high heat gloss black spraypaint. I don't think high heat paint is needed. Just regular (good paint) like Krylon would work just as good and may even be more glossy.
The painted area around the lugs/washers have worn off only because I switch these rims out for my other set of black Prostars for the track. I just touch them up with some paint every once in a while. This could have been prevented by masking off the area where the washers spin before painting.

i am soo happy i found this thread. i want to paint some pro stars for my car but i could picture it. didnt know it it would look good or not. but dont i like it, i will post pics after i do my set.

Wow, I think that would look awesome on my black LT1 with Prostars. If I wanted something pretty Glossy, and not as flat, which type of paint should I get? And what about the center caps?
