Default Anyone with Evo's?

Planning on getting a set of hp evo's this june. My question is how big of a tire can I run on the 18x8 I think they are not sure. I was wanting to put maybe a 315 drag radial like nitto 555's. I'm running 275's right now want to go bigger though. If anybody has these wheels with this setup let me know how its working out for ya or if i can even do this setup?

315s on an 8" wheel? No way!

They do make the Evo in an 18x9, even then I wouldnt go over a 285 tire and thats even pushing it. Im going with an 18x9 wheel in the near future and Im going to stick with a 275 to be safe.

Im leaning towards the HPR5, but the Evos are really starting to grow on me. I really want 19s, but Im positive traction will become nonexistent. So Im probably going with 18s so I can run DRs. Have you finished your project on your HPR5s?

245 is the biggest tire recommended for a 8" wheel . . .
