That's probably optimistic. Assuming the tire weighs at least 20 pounds, an 18X12 replica wheel only weighs 20 pounds? The stock C5 Z06 18X10.5 rim is at least 20-22 pounds.

I probably need to work out more but I just remember the C6 19X10 rim with a 295/35 tire weighing a ton. The wheel itself is less than 24 pounds.

Those look great though . makes my wheels and tires look a litle skinny by comparision.

If you jack the rear of the car up by the pumkin, and then put the tires on you dont have to use the BFH mod the tire will fit over that part

But when you're going down the road and hit a small lift and it unloads your suspension the wheel/tire is going to rub on the stop hard and cause other problems. That's why I just cut mine out.

so do any spacers need to be used or moding of the lca's. they just bolt up. i had 11's on my car and am interested in some of these bad boys now. also i might just get my 17x9.5's widened 1" or 1.5" and run a spacer so i can get 315s on her again. that would probably be the cheaper route and 17" tires are cheaper and easier to come by

That doesn't make sense. Are you running aftermarket tubular lca's. Cause I'm running stock as of now and I had to cut them up to make the 18x12 fit.
