I also have them and they are silent.
Are you sure they are balanced properly?

Does your car shake or pull at high speeds?

I mounted and balanced them myself at work.I had a old set of euro t/a's on my rims and to me the kdw's sound noisy than the euro's..I not expecting them to be dead quiet,But considering they are a better tire and cost more,They should be quieter.....

all i got is a 6, so engine noise isnt hiding any tire noise. I've had KDW's and KDWS's, never had a problem with tire noise. **** I even got run off the road and broke a rim once, and the damn tire survived to be put on new rim. And yes they were properly inflated, i think it had to do with the angle of impact.(luck)

I have had KDW2's for about 10,000 miles now with no complaints. They're nice and quiet, and stick great. Not to mention the bad *** tread pattern.

My KDWs are noisier than my Toyo Proxes T1-S's, but they aren't that bad. I do know what you mean by the mudder tire sound though...
