in case the OP did not know, the Smoothies are listed on discounttiredirect.com for 257 for the 17x11s, they have other sizes as well
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...tpc=BCTSMO&tp=
they also have the junkyard dog and Magneato for the same price
are the American Racing cheaper than that?

The TT2 17x9.5 + 17x11 combo cost me $914 shipped from TomzWheels.

I just got a set of TT2's 17x9.5 and I got a helluva deal on them and some tires from a guy here in Cleveland. I paid $900 for the rims and tires. Now I can't wait to put them on my car.

Well here they are. I definetely do not regret getting them.

The poll was pretty much dead even but I went with the TT2's. Better sizing and a little better price convinced me.

In that last pic, it looks like the rear end is sitting lower than the front. Do you have alot of stereo equipment back there?

I've got one 12 back there with the amp rack. I think it could be the angle the picture was taken because the back doesn't really look lower in person.

When I furst put on my 17x11 rears I was at stock height and they did not rub. Once you lower it, you need to get a good PHR (rod/rod will save you from some hammering). It's up to you though.
