i messed up the thread on one side of the rear, so i only have 4 lugnuts on that side and have been riding like that for a while...

well this guy wants to lend me his slicks so i can try them out, but is it dangerous if i only have 4 lugnuts on one side?

I dont want to break anything or do anything i'll regret later...

There's no way I would risk destroying the whole back half of my car over one lousy lugnut. Just replace it. It's not that hard.
