Default Anyone running Bogart Dragstar 15x10?

Im really thinking about getting a set of these wheels with Micky Thompson tires. Im thinking to sell my 17x 9.5 and 17x11 ZR1 wheels and use the Dragstar all the time. I usually drive my car around 3K miles a year so im not going to put alot of milage on the wheel tire setup.

Am I going to have a problem running 2-3K miles on the DragStars with M/T's on the street?

Also do i need to notch my brake caliper to fit the Dragstars?

New Kumho Estca 712 tire 245/50/16 - 19 lbs
Some old Kumho 275/35/18 - 19 lbs (I was suprized by that)
An old Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 295/35/18 - 27 lbs! (wow, big difference between the 275)

I'll be getting my Ruff Racing chrome 278's soon so, i'll post weights on those too

My stock chrome 10 spokes feel pretty damn heavy wonder if I would save weight by going with some polished zo6's.

ok, so im not sure if i missed it, im getting some 18by9.5 chrome C5 Z06 wheels that already have a practically brand new set of perrelies on them, any idea on weight? I also know my stock chrome 16by8 snowflakes(which i will be selling) are pretty light when the tires arent mounted.

i just weighed. c5 rims/2001 TA polsihed rims/ and old generid painted lt1 firebird rims.

and this is the wierd part. the C5 17'' rims are Lighter than the TA polished 16" rims or the lt1 painted rims. by almost 1 lb exactly. i always assumed they would be heavier being larger rims.

now im gonna take off my Rear 18's c5 rims and weigh them and see the outcome.

Camaro Snowflake w/245-50-16 (both BFGoodrich & Futura) 47#

Dual pattern Weld Draglite 15-4 (4.5 & 4.75) with M/T Sportman 165-7.5-15 32# Thats a 30# savings on front end alone!!!

Dual pattern Weld Draglite 15-10 (4.5 & 4.75) with M/T ET Drag running 42#. . .works out to 10# of rear wheel weight.
