Every time I inquire about wheel weights people refer to this thread.
I can't see why cause basically it hasn't been updated with most of the current wheel offerings from sponsor like O.E. Wheels and other current brands of wheel offering members have bought basically since 2010.
I'm specifically interested in OE Wheels weights and sizes and I look through all 4 pages of this thread only to find a few which are OE 17's C4 ZR1's, 18's C6 Z06, and they're all chrome... NOT EVERYONE BUYS CHROME!
No weights listed for any of the replicas
C5 painted 17x9.5, 18x9.5, 18x10.5 machine lip or stainless lip or rivets = ?lbs
C6 chromed, painted in 17's,18's with rivets = ?lbs.
C6 Z06's 17's or 18's machined lip, stainless lip, rivet, chromed etc...
The weight of any wheel should always be taken into consideration when choosing a wheel unless you truly after the bling factor rather than performance.
Just weighed using a digital scale and made a platform for the wheel to sit on its own without touching and zeroed the scale. I see in the orginal post it says 20.5 lbs for WS6, unless that is refering to the 98-01 WS6 wheels, than that isnt right.
2002 Trans am WS6 Speedlines - 25.0 Lbs
C5 Z06 replicas - 26.8 Lbs
Race Star 92 15x3.75 + Hoosier 26x4.5R15 = 22 lbs
if hoosiers weight 11 pounts, then the wheel would be 11 lbs too

Camaro 1995 "shooter salads" with Hoosier 28x10R16 = 38 lbs
if those hoosiers are 22 lbs then the shooter salads (uncleaned) natural ones would be like 16 lbs -> those salads are lightweight on the cheap
