Default Help!! Lost the key to my wheel locks.

Anyone know what can I do? I had two flat tires and tried to take the wheels off but couldn't because of the locks.

What's the cheapest and efficient way to go about this? Do dealerships carry a master key?

The cheapest way is get a slightly smaller socket, hammer it on the offending locks and use a rachet to take the locks off, then get some standard lug nuts to replace the locking ones

I recently went throught the same thing. My local dealer didn't have the master keys. What they did was give me the phone number of amcor wheel locks, they make the replacement keys and have the masters to remove your old locks. It cost me $50 to remove all 4. Go to this website to find a dealer near you

You can go to Discount Tire and they will get them off for you. You will have to get new ones though because they will tear them up getting them off.

I couldn't find any code in my glove box. If you have it you can call them and they will send you the right key. The site I posted also has the phone number.

carquest has a whole kit to remove locking lugnuts. I don't remember the cost as I saw it out of the corner of my eye looking at a hydraulic pump.

Sears has a locking lug removal kit too. It's $30. You pound on the socket and then remove the lug. You will have to buy new lugs though.

I know I am reviving this thread from a while ago but does anyone know if Amcor is still in business? Have a '97 SS that I don't have the wheel lock key for. I have the card to mail into them and pay to get a replacement key but their site seems to be down.

Card says to mail to:
Amcor Wheel Locks
12955 Inkster Rd.
Livonia, MI 48150

www.amcorlocks.com only displays blank pages.

Anybody have any info?

Thanks

I the same thing for the 04 Toyota. To replace the key they needed the packaging from the original key which I didn't have. I took it to the dealer and they pulled them off. I just got regular lug nuts to replace.

I imagine they are having a server issue today. They are still in business though.

Was able to get them off with a couple of 13/16" sockets. Destroyed the sockets but got them off.
