As per the pricings Ive seen, there isnt a $1000 difference between Fikse and CCW. If someone's wanting $3500+ for Fikse'...they better have tires and everything included. They normally run pretty even, or slightly under what CCWs do. If someone's wanting THAT much for them...slap 'em.
______
CCW start at 2595/set, Fikse wheels start in the high 700s (thats abour 800 x 4 = 3200, and thats for 17"s AFAIK)
start comparing 18" Fikse vs 18" CCW that difference is about a grand

if you do have a source for getting Fikse for under 650/wheel 18", please let me know

I would appreciate it

I'd like to know where you found CCWs for $1900! Thats by far the cheapest Ive ever seen them for, brand new.
you can get the track style Classics for 2000 in 18" but the stainless steel bolts are $120 extra for the track wheel making them more than the street Classic at 2250

if CCW still offered 17"s, I think I would be in better shape

were those one-offed for you? cause the Crokus are 6 points in the Bonspeed catalogue

what size wheels are they?
No, they come in both 5 and 6 points you would just have to tell them 5 point, and they are 19's and 20's, not sure the width.

are you sure they are 19" and 20" wheels? 20"s would be ridiculously huge on a f-body

what size tires are they?

EDIT: actually I just checked and they do not make a 19"

it looks like you can get 17, 18, 20, 22, 24

I never said I wanted tires and wheels for 1500, I know I said, I would prefer to only spend 1500 on wheels maybe 2000

but this thread was specifically about wheels, I can shop for tires without too much trouble

I do not think I was getting shitty in my previous post, I even said thanks

further I only asked about pricing cause I thought you were the dealer, I was just mostly cusious about shipping charges

I only mentioned that cause 400 per wheel would not allow for any tire budget

thesoundandthefury, my budget for wheels and tires is I pray under 3k hopefully closer to 2500

sorry if it was not clear, thats why I would rather if possible keep it under 2k for wheels

the bonspeeds in 17x10 and 18x10 came out to 1600 + the Nitto 555s were about 800 for a set in 275/40/17 and 285/35/18
final price close to 2400, 17x10 all around would be about 2100

the boyd rebels in 17x11 and 17x9.5 are about 1600 + Goodyear GS 315/35/17 and 275/40/17 are about 1k so final price is about 2.6k

same for the timeless 2s

also the GS wheels OEM are 420 per wheel + 20 for center caps
they came out closer to 475 per wheel, which would 2900 with the Goodyears

another wheel I considered was the Black 02 WS6 wheels, 396 OEM, brought them to be about 440 per wheel, which made the final price about 2700 with the Goodyears again

the Orisis from Boyd are 500 and 390 for 18x10 and 17x10, with the Nitto Tires, thats about 2800, 17x10 all around would be 2500

the Heckle from Boyd is about 340 and 330 for 17x11 and 17x9.5 with the Goodyears is about 2350

and considering the Heckles are from the same line as the Timeless 2 and Rebels, hopefully I would be able to find them at the same price

the Intros in 18x10 and 17x10 would be 550 and 400, plus 800 for the Nittos
making them 2700

the CCWs which would be going pretty much outside of my range are 2250 for Classics or 2600 for SP500, with tires, both go over 3k

this is why I cannot afford Fikse FM5s

Save up and get the wheels you really want. Because everytime you see the wheels that you "should have bought" you will have a bruise on your ***.

Yes, they are 19's and 20's, if you call and ask them they should still do it, but my dad bought them a couple years ago, so they might have stopped doing 19's. I will have to check on the tires. Seriously, i would recommend calling them and getting prices and sizes.

not really an option to wait and save up more, I tagged a curb and bent some wheels
so I really need a replacement set soon

My feeling is get what you like. Don't settle for less. The wheels make the car, if you like a particular style, save up for it and get what you want. Remember, you walk out to your car everyday...the worst thing you can do is think that you've settled for somethign that you really don't like as much.

the fact is though I will probably not be able to afford the FM5s for some time (after college)

the only wheels worth even, debating about rather than jumping on the bonspeeds, which I like alot, would be the CCW Classic or SP500

the intros look good, but I would rather have the Classics from CCW than them

as I said in my previous reply if CCW still made 17"s, I think it would be a moot issue

maybe I should give them a ring???

I mean can anyone tell me they do not like the Delta wheels from bonspeed?

This is as close of pic as I got right now. Looks better from the front but you wanted to see the wheels. All four were 1420 + tires.

Just remember 18's will cost ya on the rubber end of things. Example for the tire I like to run in a 315x30x18 it cost $340 a peice. But for a 275x40x17 its only $216.
You need to look at what tire you really want to run and then buy the wheel for it.

ok I would really like to be able to take time and save money for FM/5s but right now I have 4 x 16x8 chrome OEM wheels with 3 bent, and borrowed 3 16x8 painted OEM wheels to use, that means I can either roll on bent rims or mismatched finished wheels
and my friend does not have a fourth wheel
the tires on two of the chromes are bubbled, and the tires on the 16x8s are cracking from long storage

so saving for longer means, buying new tires soon, and driving on mismatched wheels

is it really wise to save more money in my situation?

(FM/5s) 3800 for wheels alone is a long way away from the 1700 quoted for the deltas, 1900 for the intros, or even the 2250 and 2595 for the CCWs

for tires on the 18x10s, 189 firestone firehawks wide oval, or nitto 555 Extreme Performance for 216

yeah I could spend 250+ a tire on the BFG KDs or Goodyear F1s

for the 17x10s, 159 firestones, 178 nitto
granted the firestones, I would have to pay for shipping
