If guys are fitting 315/xx/17 tires on lowered cars, there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to fit 315/30/18 tires on a lowered car.

That being said, hammering the inner wheel wells seems to be a must in either case.

BFG hasn't released their KDW2 in 315/30/18....last I spoke to them, they will be released in May. You may be talking about the drag radial that look exactly like the KDW2, but a drag radial just isn't practical for me being that my car is a DD

Those are Camaro 10 spoke wheels.

I don't feel its right.....its enough we have to share the same engine with the catfish

Just kidding, but I don't care for the wheels on a TA, they look great on a Camaro though

305's do rub slightly on a lowerd car. Mine only rubs in hard corners on the inner fender lip. Simple fix is getting the fender lip slightly rolled. Im trying to find a professional in the NJ/PA area to do it. I cant risk any mishaps. I would have purchased 295's but none are available for 18's in a DR.

275-35/18 front
305-35/18 rear

greg i know what you mean about the color being tough to cater towards I considered black or charcoal like wheels but i think i would also get tired of themmy car came with the chrome 16x8 5 spokes and i got vents and emblems to match it is a really good contrast nbm and chrome with that said unless i find another cheap 18x9.5 chrome wheel i will have c6 z06 wheels like mike02z does but without his bowtie decals and instead nbm firebirds from fourthcircle designs good luck and post pics whenever you make a decision

yeah I meant the 305/30/19, but you are right there are no 18"x11" KDW2s either

ya you'll almost definately rub with 305's on a lowered car, it says in the sticky anything 295 and up will rub, only when lowered though i think
yeah I figured as much, I just wonder why John at CCW, thought they would not. after all it seems he sells quite a few wheels to F-body guys.

I guess I will give him a call and let talk with him again about wheels

I would rather just go 10"s all the way around than beat on my car
and those tires(305/30/19) are way too much!

FLAWLS1TA - Did you get your wheels painted like that after you bought them, or did they come that way?

yes i have seen your car flawls1t/a, it was actually my desktop pic at school, haha.

the only thing that i notice about evos, is the pictures from the semi-side angle like the 2nd picture makes the rear wheels look a bit small? but thats how it is with every car ive seen with evos

what size tires are those, does it say 225 on them?

I did the work on the wheels after i got them...

the size of the rims are 18X9, i just have REALLY small tires on there for now becasue they where on my old rims.... in a few months im getting the rears widened to 11.5's out back with 335 or maybe 315 if i run into too many problems with the 335's. like always ill have pictures once completed...

The right black wheels look great on NBM cars. Just make sure the lip is polished or you'll look like you're rolling around on doughnuts, but that goes for any car really. I plan on getting some black wheels when I decide to put money into something other than perfomance.

Here is my car now with C6 Z06 in Chrome 18 x 9.5 all the way around. I only have these closeups at the moment no overall shots. Hope to get some overall complete shots this weekend.

Good luck on your wheel selection! I went through this back in Feb and it drove me nuts for weeks! In the end I went with TomZWheels. His prices for knock off's are tough to beat.
I just wanted to let you know your rotors are on backswords
