That's awesome, I wonder how much a shop would charge for one inch per wheel widening.

Those are some badass looking tires. I got they lame traction-sucking sumitomos cuz they came with my 17x11's. Can't wait for the 12 bolt so I can slap something sticky on there.

Those are some big *** steam rollers. Love the thread pattern on the tires. Just need to lower the car a bit.

I doubt you'll have any rubbing issues with your current stance. Once you lower the car you'll need to do the usual stuff. Adjustable Panhard bar (preferably rod ended), rolling the fender lips and hammering the inside wells. All the typical 315 stuff.

You said you had the adapter custom made? You know they are available for about $40 each, right?

The price is about the same. You can have them done cheaper if you have a donor aluminum rim the shop can use. I'm guessing Judas has the shop add a strip of aluminum to his rims. Usually you would cut off the back lip and a larger section of back lip from a donor rim and then do one weld.

If anyone is interested, I have pics and links to several styles of widened rims:
35th SS Camaro rims
2 of the late style WS6 like Judas'
as well as the early style
and chrome Firehawk rims

I think every one of these people widened to 11".

By request, here are some early style WS6 rims. The first pic (LSUxBlake's car) is a real widened rim, the other 4 pics are Photoshops I did a while back. The main difference is that the widened rims stick out a little further. The 4th gens seem to have a narrower track in the rear which makes the tires look like they're tucked in more in comparison to the fronts. If you just want to improve the lines of the car and make it look "right", then you can just add some adapters/spacers to push them out some. It really makes a difference. A whooole lot cheaper too.

I have the same tires on my car and they suck! They get really sticky when you heat em up a bit but the sidewall is so hard that it doesn't tuck when you launch. Best pass I was able to get out of them at the track was a 2.0 feathering alot from about 3300. Let me know how you do on them.

The A032R are not for drag racing, they are track tires which is why the sidewalls are made stiff. The compound is supposed to get hot when cornering to give you grip. If you want good 60 times you need a drag radial.

Yeah, went to the track. all I could get out of them was a 2.0 60' on a non-prep track. which is still better than street tires. I drove around the waterbox. best time was 13.1 @ 107. Our track is 3700 feet above sea, and da was 4400. These tires don't hook like a drag radial off the line, but mid point traction and between shift traction is awsome. I don't spin top of 1st and 2nd anymore.

This is my 13.1 run against a modded Lightning. He ran 14.1

The main place that I know of is Wheels America.
http://www.fixrim.com/
They charge around $200 the last time I checked. Part of the expense is that they have to cut the back lip off a junk rim to use. If you have some junk rims in the same diameter they can reduce the price by about $50ea they said. BTW, only their Dallas location does it.

Not so much. It costs quite a bit and takes time, plus you have to get wider tires. It adds up to a lot of $.

Those times seem pretty slow for high-300rwhp. The 60' seems way off. I cut a 1.92 on my Nitto 555 (street tire. NOT DR), and know i can hit 1.8 on them. Oh and my run was on a non-prep track, and i did a 13.1 @ 103.9 (with motor problems)

What was the size of the spacers? I'm gonna need them when i get mine widened.
