Are there any 1-size-fits-all-without-rubbing 17x10 wheels for the 4th gen?
In the near future, my '02 Z28 will get slightly lowered and then I'll need a new set of rims. I want a set of rims that are:
1. the same size at all 4 corners so that I can do tire rotations.
2. to be at least 17x10 and will fit without having to do pain in the *** modifications like the BFH mod or the rolling of fender lips.
3. to be specifically made for the 4th-gen f-body so that I won't have to send measurements to a custom wheel manufacturer.
4. to be relatively light (at most, 22 lbs. per wheel) and still not cost more than $1,500 per set.
Does such a wheel exist? If so, then what comes closest to my specifications? Thanks in advance for the info.

damnn, 17x10 in front too?? thats gonna be a slight PITA when turning. i went from 275s up front to 245s and its soo much easier
will it rub when turning ot make it harder to turn? I was thinking either a 275/40/17 or 285/40/17
will the 275/40/17 fit on a 17x10?

With the right offset, the 17x10's shouldn't be a problem. I'm running OZ Competition 17x10's (49mm offset) with 275/40/17's up front and 315/35/17's in the rear. Lock to lock turns do not rub but are very close. I'm thinking about running 315's all the way around.

im saying, when making turns or parking, i noticed that the 245 50 16s were alot easier to turn instead of the 275 40 17s. less rubber up front & less resistance. i could cut the wheel a whole hell of alot easier. but the wider, low profile tires are always better for handling it all depends on what you wanna do with the car. im more of a str8 line acceleration guy, so im gonna go with some weld prostar 15x 5s or smaller up front and 15x 10s in the back.
