Frustrated with wheel weights... Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I've tossed both sticker weights and hammer on weights on my front tires. On my rear driver's side, I've lost yet another hammer on weight...
The upper control arm seems to be the culprit for the inner front tires. The rear... well I will take responsibility as I gave my tires a good cleaning and perhaps may have "knocked" the weight off a bit.
I'm going to suggest putting them in 1 inch or so to see if that helps it clear the arm better. I already did a bit of grinding down the control arm a bit, but I don't want to compromise the integrity of the arm much. Also going to ask if they have any special "low profile" hammer on weights if the previous idea doesn't work.
I'm just frustrated and need to vent, anyone else go through this problem? 16x8 stock 5 spoke 98 rims.
