Default New boyds on!!

heres a couple of quick pics i took at work. there will be more to come this weekend. they are boyd Junk Yard Dogs. Tese things took some work to fit (17x10's) but it was worth it. i had to get the shortest valve stem possible for the back, since its mounted in the center of the rim it actually hit the caliper. the fronts i had to grind some material off the fins on the caliper. im going to take some more off, its just too close for me to be comfortable with it.

BTW the stripe isnt orange its reflective black.

I would drop it, but my 3 inch true dual hangs way to low as it is, that would make matters worse.....

I droped mine 1 1/2 inches and I'm going to go back to stock springs ASAP. The car is just too bumpy and it scrapes too much. Especially if you have low exhaust like you and I do. Your wheels look good BTW.

its not the offset thats the prolem, its the location of the valve stem. its smack dead on the center of the rim, and thats what was killing my. the bs is available from something like 3 1/4" all the way to 7 1/4" in 1/8 inch incriments.

Due to the unique barrel configuration and wanting to have the "soft-lip" look, they have to put the valvestem behind one of the spokes in the middle of the wheel.

I went with the JYD's in 18x8, 18x10 combo. I had no problems mounting them, they bolted right up. However, upfront, the spokes of the wheels are VERY close to the fin of the caliper. But it does not touch it. No clearance issues at all in the back.
