I have the stock 98 5-spoke rims... They don't have a pronounced lip yo leave silver, and they are unpolished aluminum... I would be painting the entire rim black.
I am pretty sure it would good, however, I think I would it done with the highest of quality in mind...

The problem with mine are mine are exactly like the rims on the silver car in the above pic, there is no defined lip . . . I would be painting the entire rim black
