Default ZR1 or TTs?

Seeing what people think about my upcoming wheel set up. I want to run a 315 so I'm thinking polished/chrome ZR1s or polished TTs. NBM TA. What you think? OR if there is another wide rim in 17 thats cheap like these im open to other suggestions.

TTII's are kind of played out, but if noone has them in your area. Get them.

ZR1's=cheap and wide... if u can find a used set of zr1's w/ tires for sale, get 'em. but if you really love the look of ttII's, don't waste your time and money and go for the set u really want. i really dig my chrome zr1's, but in the long run i am going to go slick's and skinies!

I don't really think Torque Thrusts look like they belong on a modern Firebird.

I didnt vote but I say anything but TT2's. If You want to have the same rim as every other person then get them. I used to love the TT2's till everyone and their great great great whatever had them rolling on the 1918 T-bucket. To me they're everywhere, but to each his own.

Even after all the ranting I still like them. I would never put them on any of my cars though. I think they look great on Silvers car. But then again they look great on the trillion plus other cars they are on as well.

OH MAN I just had a revelation. I used to love the idea of TT2s on a 4th gen Trans Am. I was even gonna get them to match the TT2s for my 69 firebird, but after finally seeing a side view of silver's car, I HATE the way TT2s look on Trans Ams. I think the TA looks more like a sports car than a muscle car and the wheels just seem out of place. I feel the same way about slicks and skinnies, hate them on a TA but LOOOOVE them on a Trans Am.

I prefer the TTII's over the ZR1's but it's personal opinion.

Ok this is the exact dilemma that i've been having. When I first saw the Torque Thrust IIs on a 2002 Trans Am, I completely fell in love and wanted them badly. Then as I saw a Trans Am with ZR1's. I started to fall out of love with the Torque Thrusts and started likin the ZR1s. But then I started thinkin that the ZR1s look almost stock. (unless you have a 17x11 in the rear and look at the car from the rear and see those wide *** *****). I want that clean look but I think the ZR1s are too clean and stock looking. Also, The ZR1s dont have much of a lip at all. I want a nice lip. Now I think I'm going back to liking the Torque Thrusts. But I still dont know, cuz theyre sooo played out. Its like every modded TA has them now.

Yeah i dislike the lack of a lip on the ZR1s even the 11". So im kinda leaning towards TTIIs more so. Im open to suggestions on something else in 17" (not going 18) chrome/polished that will support a 275/315 tire set up and are in the same price range (cheap lol). Anyone?
