This would be good if you were going for the lowrider look.

No, gold chrome wheels won't make it a lowrider just like gold powdercoat won't make it a musclecar. My point is that I have only seen gold chrome like that on lowriders and I do think it would look pretty shitty. I personally don't care either way. If you like the color, whatever it is, get it. Who cares what I think?

Okay, I can respect your opinion that you think it would look shitty. I'm not advocating that he go one way or the other, I'm just about letting people know what's available.

I thought it was an interesting product... U could get some polished trim pieces from DragonZ28 and do them with the same stuff to match the wheels exactly.

If his stance is like most fbodies... noone is going to mistake it for a lowrider anyways

Sure. Put some gold chrome wheels and trim on there and see how it looks.

i think the firehawks with the gold look great. they are definatly a stand out kindof thing and i like it. it's all about your taste and combination. my parents have a 30th anniversary TA with the blue rims and blue stripes..and i can say that if someone posted a thread of "who likes my blue wheels" they would get their head ripped off...but on the 30th's it's very tastefully done IMO. i think the black TAs/WS6's with the gold letter fill-ins and the gold rims looks very nicely done!

Go with gold man.. If I ever get a Dark Blue LS1, I'm gonna stick with Blue and Gold for the simple fact that it flows so well together.

Not an F-Body, but the blue and gold mate nicely.

I predict that gold/bronze will be the new black of wheels. This is why I'm not getting bronze rims for my new car, pretty soon every other car with wheels will havem, just like when I got black rims for my TA. I still likem, but its not as original anymore.

Usually Silver and I butt heads, but I don't think he was comming off like a total jag. There was no explanation about the shock set-up and he basically said what everyone was thinking. I know I said "wtf?" when I saw that. I'm glad it was a temporary problem though!
