stupid question? maybe but just gotta ask
ok so the only rims i like are the z06's and tt2's and being that my cars white its hard to know whats better, but if i want 275 in the front i should get a 9.5 rim right?. and i want 315 in the rear a 10.5 or 11? and i also see theres a mod to do so theres no rubbing what is this? thanks guys

275's on 9.5's in the front will fit fine if you get the right offset. +50mm is about the perfect offset. I think you can use +38-+57mm though without modification. The lower the offset (+38mm lets say) the further your wheel will get to the outer fender. Some like this look better.
If you want 315's in the rear you should shoot for an 11" wheel. On TA's with certain tires you won't need any mods as the TA's have slightly more room in the rear. On a Z with 315's you will almost certainly need to use a big sledge hammer to "massage" the inner fender well. It is also possible that you might need to modify the bump stop and in rare cases roll the fender lip. You will also not be able to rotate your tires but some folks don't care about that.
315's on the back look really bad *** but I have a problem beating on my car with a sledge hammer even though I know lots of folks here do it. I went 275's on 18" 9.5 wide wheels and am quite happy. Also keep in mind that the bigger 315's will tend to throw stones at your rear bumper due to their size. I notice this now even with my 275's.
