http://www.racegoodyear.com/pdf/2006...k/dot_drag.pdf

I'm sure they aren't as goos as MT et streets.

I'm interested to see if they last longer than Nitto Drag radials.

MSRP doesn't seem too expensive! $159-192.

Hm, they've got 255/50-16s, which is a size I've been looking for (stock 16" wheels) and I'm due for a new set of tires on the rear...wonder how they'd do in the rain compared to a 555R?

My friend with a mustang got to do some of the testing with those tires at the world street finals last year. I saw them at his shop thye looked good and he said they worked great. I'll post what he said about them.
Just got back!!!! WOW! Huge turnout and fastest cars I have ever seen at the event!

Sherry drove Pinky to a 42 spot (64 cars, Bump spot was 8.60) with a 9.008 @ 152.8MPH pass on Goodyear Drag Radials!!

Yep thats right Goodyear!! The engineers were on the grounds looking for test data and Pinky became a Test Mule! LOL.

We were able to Launch on the Nitrous with them and after it was all said and done, they are still on the back of it!!

We will be sending them data on them as we use them and since there are only 20 sets in existence at the moment we are going to see just how good these things are!!

Maybe its just me...but I find it interesting that the 315/17 is cheaper than the 275/17. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I know this is an old thread, but I know someone who just got 315 good year drag radials, and they actually look better than the M/T drag radials. Not sure if they are, but they have barley any groves in them, so they definatly would be a no-no in the rain.

So the 315/17 is out now? Can anyone confirm this?

I don't think being stickier than a nitto will be a problem. Pretty much every other drag radial is stickier than a Nitto.

What I REALLY want in a tire is..... a tire that's as sticky as a Nitto, but comes with the tread depth of a street tire...... So it lasts twice as long as a Nitto.

nittos do last longer than any other drag radial, but want to see if the goodyear will hook as good as the Mickeys do . Maybe last longer to.
