An idea would be to use some chalk on the inner tread and side wall of the tire and spin it by hand and then take the tire off. Where you need to hammer some more will collect the chalk and be very visable. Hope that may help.

Well, could be that your rear end is not that well centered. Is only one side rubbing?

When I was done with the bfh, it looked like this.....

In my case....the driver side need more hammering than the passenger side, thing is, my passenger side is a bit more cut up from it hitting the fender lip. I have a rod ended double adjustable panhard bar on order that should help with that.

yeah looking at the passanger side...this is where you will need to "BFH"

on the drivers side it's at the "9 o'clock position"

im uncertain what size tires/wheels/offset you are running...but that is the general area that you need to beat in with the BIG ******* HAMMER mod to make most rims fit! hope that helps for you! .....

1. You might need an APHR.

2. What width rims are you running?

3. What width tire are you running?

Even with the APHR, BFH, my Goodyear GS D3 mounted on 17 x 11 50 mm offset still rub a little bit.

I'm using 15x10 Prostars in the back with a 325/50R/15 tire. Mine is rubbing where the jounce bracket is, and I've been grinding and grinding. I just bought SFC, adj. PHR, and adj. LCA's to hope it helps fix the problem a little bit. It's only rubbing in those spots. I know some people take off the bumpstop completely, but that seems a little too risky to me. It's a daily driver. My bumpstops are cracked to ****, and ready to fall off, should I remove them?

This is where my tires are rubbing. I bashed in everything, and hopefully when I put the new LCA's and PHR in, it will help recenter so that doesn't rub as much.

dont remove your bumpstops.

I did and I am regretting it ever since.

Your suspension IS LOADED correct when you put the tires on?

If not, the bumpstops will be in the way.

Just keep pounding away and when you get the APHR you will be ok.

325's? That is alittle much isnt it?

That's the only way to put these tires on, is with a loaded suspension. I have the car on jack stands by the stock control arms. 325/50/15 Nittos aren't too much of a tire. I did it for the looks, and the performance. I got the tires first, that way I didn't have problems hooking when I got my other stuff.

You can never have too much tire....Now if it was a 325 MT ET Street, yeah, that would be a little much.

If you don't have the suspension loaded when you put the wheels on, when you lower the car, the bump stop bracket will gouge the inside of the wheel, so in reality, there is only one way to put them on.

If you mean by having the rear axle jacked up when I put the wheels on, then no, it sits loaded on the jack stands.
