Default Im going crazy!!!!

i cant find the lug lock key for my wheels and i cant get them of. where can i get my hands on a lug key that fits?

can you try hammering a socket on to get them off? you could always get a new set of locks and a key. i think SLP sells them cheaper than the dealers...

TTT for this... does the key for the new locks fit the old locks? anyone?

i looked on the SLP site and they seem to be the same locks i have. so i guess stock. im just worried about the pattern, that is if there are many patterns

i believe they are different patterns, just get a new set and replace all the old ones. i doubt you'd be able to get a key that works for the ones you have unless it is tied to the vin, which i also doubt...

yes thats the problem. i have 17" chrome wheels just wayting to get on and they came with new locks with a key but i have to get the old ones of but i seem to be having trouble doing that

If you're talking about the factory stock odd shaped lug, just find another fbod on the road and ask if you could bum his key for a few minutes. Make sure you bring a tire iron and just undo the keyed ones and put some temp lugs on. I'm sure theres got to be some nice fbod guys around you.

i had to hammer mine off and it didn't hurt the socket or lock!

heh i have talked to 8 f-body guys and none of them have this key and there are only about 30-35 4 gen's on the street over here to my best knowlidge

smokin'z what size socket did you use. neither 19 or 20mm worked for me

problem solved with a 21mm sparkplug socket and a big hammer, im now riding on chomeie's

on a sidenote though i used a 21mm sparkplug socket and when i had one locknut out i just sawed the socket in half and used it again. so i just used 2 sockets... just a heads up for someone doing the same and is up for a $ or 2 of savings
