Cutting Fender Lip?

Don't cut the slits in the fenders either. it will cause wrinkling of the fender. Either baseball bat or eastwood fender roller which is what I did.

MAYBE I wont even have to do it but i figure i will with a prokit and 315s

Thats what Im been thinking thats why i am soaking up as much info on it before the wheels come so i can be ready to do whats necessary.

I appreciate everyones input on here. ive got a light/medium weight double ended mallet (rubber and some other harder material on the other side) I figure if i take my time hopefully i can make it fold down pretty flat and not F anything up in the process haha...

The rubber end wont impact the lip to the point that it stretches the metal. You will find that it takes several times more force to get any results from the rubber end. You dont want to use too much force or you will distort the outer panel. Also, take a razor blade and scribe a line on the edge just inside the lip incase the paint starts peeling/flaking. This will act as a breaking point and keep it from continuing onto the oputer panel. It will peel/flake on the inside lip due to the stretching of the metal but it wont be seen after your done and you can touch it up with some black paint or under coating.
