And a custom color is the only way to go. . .it's nice to be different. I get SO much attention, and I get compliments constantly on the color of my car, mainly because you don't see it everyday (read: EVER)

well its a 3 stage paint. It is a heavy metallic silver base (base's name is cosmic dust) with a transparent (candy) crimson top coat. So you get crimson dust. The crimson is slightly darker than a bright apple red. Its sort of hard to describe, but the sample I have looks alot like this:

but I doubt mine will ever look THAT good. Thats a picture under perfect lighting of a car that looks like its never driven, but sort of gives you an idea of what I'm shooting for. The painter likes to call it hot rod red because you usually only see it on older cars.

Sort of a lighter/brighter shade of candy apple red. Very similar to the color I want to paint my car one day. Your car is already nice, but this is going to put it near the top of the ranks as the nicest Trans Am out there.
