Mannn i dont know what people have been saying , but i make about 425 rwhp and man these things stickkk good. for 75.00 a tire shipped what a deal... and they have that pissed-off agressive look to them. If anyone is thinking, i recommend these. I will hit it from a roll or stand still verrry limited slip and then bang .000001 seconds later they grab. My old tires, were bridgestone potenza re's and i could burn them, and they still have a ton of tread left but the new Falkens really work awesome.!!!

You make 425rwhp & can barley break loose a set of 255-50-16 street tires??? Sorry man, but something doesn't add up... I run a 315-35-17 rear & make less power then you & I can't get **** for traction from 1st into 2nd... Not trying to be a dick at all, but that seems very odd with that size street tire.

Just wanted to give you my opinoin on these tires. I purchased a set and they lasted 40,000 miles
that made me very happy, so then I bought a second set (my car has 89k on it). Overall performance wise if i dump the clutch and break em loose they will spin all the way through first gear till i shift or the rev limiter either way. As far as them hooking if I am at idle in first rolling and then lay it on the floor no they will not spin. My car makes about 340hp with the minor mods I have. Just how I rate them. ?'s just ask.

I had the same experience expect with 255 sumitomos HTR Zs they stick.(380rwhp). When some tires are new they stick, give them some time to wear out and the may not be so good anymore. Say what you want but I know people that have gone 1.6s on cheap street tires.
