backspacing 15x4 wheel

What would be a good backspacing be for a 15x4 wheel. I am looking into buying a set of prostars with 15x4in fronts, and want to know what a good backspacing would be. I know for a 15X3.5 a 1.75 is good, but what about a 4" wide wheel?

Well on my 15x4 centerlines the backspace is 2 5/16 , so 2 1/4 is pretty close, just 1/16 different.

I always read that getting 4" wheels to fit over the LS1 brakes was a nightmare?

I believe the only way you can get the Centerlines is in a 15x4, not 3.5". So they will work (Centerlines don't require grinding to fit, but don't have the ideal backspacing to keep the wheel tucked inside the fender). However, the 3.5" in a Weld wheel will require 5/16" spacers and longer studs, or grinding the calipers to make them fit.
