I am looking into getting som 15" rims for my 2002 transam, i do not want to grind the calipers down, and i have seen alot of peopl have the welds on their cars.... Is there a back spacing that fits that will not require grinding???

Yes u can run a spacer up front but dont even try it with stock wheel studs.... yours asking for the wheel to come off and total the car..... Longer ARP Front studs.....
and no not at all spacers on the rear... even with longer studs.... to much stress...
The rear calipers can be ground down in about 45 min a side with a $30 grinder from Wal-Mart and about $10 is grinder disks.
Just grind and test fit the wheels.
Now for 15X8's you want to run a 5.5" of BS
15X8 rears M/T ET Street radial 275/60/15
15X10's with 7.5" of BS
It will be ok man.........
