Baer wheel spacers kick ass!

Baer wheel spacers kick ***!
For those of you guys running Z06 wheels and needing wheel spacers to get them to look right, go with the BAER wheel spacers from Thunder Racing. I got the .500" billet spacers and I am running long ARP studs. The car finally drives smooth as glass with no vibration or wobbles at 55-65mph. I had been running the cheapy Mr Gasket 7/16" universal spacers that don't fit worth a sh*t and the car vibrated/wobbled like crazy.
I actually could have gone with the .625 or even the .750" spacers to get an even wider stance but I was afraid my 315s would run on the fender so I stuck with the .500". They are billet and very solid unlike the Mr Gasket cast junk.
I highly recommend them for guys that want Z06 wheels to fit right, especially on Trans Ams.

Before wheel spacers:
After 7/16" wheel spacers:
I don't have any pics with the 1/2" spacers yet but the difference is not noticeable. There is a HUGE difference going from no spacers to the 7/16" spacers though. Trans Ams especially need the spacers. Corvette offset wheels(Zr1, Z06 etc, 56mm off set) fit like **** on Trans Ams. Trans Ams really need like a 44mm off set to get flush with the fenders. I will get some better pics this weekend. Had I known I would have needed to do this, I would not have bought Z06 or ZR1 wheels. I am just really picky about how wheels and tires should fit a car.

I believe the studs were ARP, p/n 1105. They are for late model GM, they are like 2.5" long. They are tight going in but they do go and they are 250,000lbs tensile strength. Just call summit and ask for late model GM ARP studs.
I will get some pics this afternoon of the car with the 1/2" spacers. Like I mentioned, I might would even go with the .625" spacers on a TA next time.

Ya Tony, the spacers are a lot more noticeable in person. WHen I first got the Z06 wheels I was sick to my stomach when I saw them sunk in the wheel wells that far. Not to mention I have 315s on the back but they were tucked so severely that they looked smaller then the 275s. Without the spacers it looked like total crap and I was going to get rid of the wheels but I REALLY like the way the black Z06s look so..I made em work.
BTW for whoever asked, the spacers were $100 for 4 from thunder racing.
For anyone considering this, I would recommend the .625" spacers for the best fit.
