Talking What is the widest wheel I can...

put in the back of a 72 camaro...

Probably 10 or 11" without mini-tubbing. You'll have to have them built with the correct offset though. Most off-the-shelf wheels won't have the right backspacing. You will probably have to move the springs inward though.

thanks! im lookin at some black c5 zo6 rims with chrome lip. i wanna go like 18x9.5 rear and 17x8.5 front. just not sure if it will look how i want it tho. im gonna paint the car white by the way.

Depending on the offset, you may have to run a 2" or so spacer to space the wheel out. I had to use them on my old '69 when I had Z06s and my old G2 wheels on it.

Mine has 11" TTII's with 315's.
I had to trum the fender lips a bit,
and hammer the inner well a bit.
I believe they are 6" backspacing.
But I would have to double check......

Damn I Love 70-73 Camaros....i Have A 72 Camaro Ss And I Love Meeting Other Guys On Here That Have Them As Well....on My 72 I Had 15x10's And They Fit Fine
