Default Z28 snowflake rims

on a 2002 Z28

have 16 inch rims

P 245/50 Rs

can I fit P255s on that sucker with the same aspect ratio?

Because I want my Nitto 555Rs a bit thicker.

Pointless to do...but yes...you can... 255/50/16s. They have an overall diameter of 26.1 inches, vs 25.6 for the 245's. I don't recommend doing it....you won't see the difference, and it looks a little weird too. I ran tires that size on my stock wheels before, and they seemed a little too big for the wheel. The tire was bunched up on the rim causing the center to bulge out which lead to excessive wear of the middle 1/3 of the tire, even at only 25 psi, and severe loss of traction.

Stick with 245's

Ok... I was thinking it would help me slightly more when I launched.
