Dang, that is like the evil red-headed sister of my orange SS! Looks great (of course)

Now you just need the painted Manta stripes

I was going to have them powder coated...which I believe is the most durable..but the guy wanted $150 PER rim...
I was like WOAHHH

So I took then to a wheel repair shop, which happened to paint rims custom colors..it was $98 a wheel, I said DO IT....I will just have to be careful around them...it looks fantastic

haha, thanks Tony, I must say man I love the hugger...**** it was bad ***..
So, I got a little inspriation, and the evil twin was born...I am glad you like it..I LOVE it..I walked into the garage last night and just stared..like one of those Armor All ads "Go ahead...Stare"

Manta is next! Tony, how much did you pay for the hood only...and was it hard to explain to the painter what you wanted exactly??

Thanks

powdercoating is more durable, but since it is black paint they are easily touched-up with normal paint-chip repair markers. You can even use a black sharpie on smaller blems.

The guy that painted my stripes happens to be a bigtime f-body fan and collector. His Wife posts here as Teri9672. They own a paint/body shop here in Houston, and have painted several Mantas for people here. Front/rear stripes were $800 if I remember correctly.

I did consider that, but in the end, i though that the lip AND the cap polished really made the polish/black a 50/50 balance...and I think I was right..
I was scared I would get a "spare" tire look if too much of it was black...so I decided to not paint the caps...
