They're rediculously heavy but they hook like no other so what's one to do? Go lighter and be slightly quicker from say a 30-80 MPH roll and spin like mad from the line? Or dead hook from the line and be quicker at the track?? I'm really hoping to hear great results from the new Hoosier drag radials because they're several (9 I believe) pounds lighter per tire in the size I'm currently running. That weight savings would make a difference at the track to the tune of probably .05 and maybe .5 MPH if they hook the same and I could still turn some 1.5 60's with them. I just hate to try them and not have them hook like the MT's do. The Hoosiers aren't cheap either so it will be an expensive experiment. Light weight or great hook. I'm just not sure we can have both in the same package at the present time. Unless you use a slick or other bias ply tire.

i have had both the m/t and the hoosier dr..both hooked the same
i have cut 1.55 1.59 60' foots on both tires....the hoosiers are lighter.
they do, Believe it or not actually wear faster than the mickeys do...
i would not want to get caught on either tire in the rain but if i had to pick the mickeys would probably be better as the hoosiers are basicly the same tred pattern as there qtp drag slicks
i had them in the 275/40/17 size i have a set of the hoosier dr for sale
with about 50 % life left...i just went over to a 15 tire so i dont need them any more... they were posted in the fs section just search under hoosier drag radials

What, if any performance improvement did you see at the track with the lighter Hoosiers vs the MT's. Do you have the incrementals from your runs to post up? I'd sure like to see. I really don't want to doubt you here but you're the first person I've heard say that the Hoosiers worked as well as the MT's and since you're trying to sell a set of the Hoosiers it would be to your benefit to talk them up as much as possible. You see my point? I won't post in your "For Sale" thread or any other. I'd just like to know for sure the Hoosiers will work out for the better if I try them when my MT's wear out. PM me if you don't feel comfortable answering me on the board. Thanks.
