Umm, I think you're jumping the gun a little bit seeing that they haven't even come up with a final prototype yet. With the progress being made it looks it will be available sooner rather than later though.

i personally think 9" wide would be fine...ofcourse 10 would be better for tire stability but i will take 9" in those wheels...i just want them now...im close to picking up some 7.5s

Yeah hold off on trying to order, there is no part number yet, and they are going to let us know if they can address that one spot where they rub. They were also going to kick around whether they can make them a little wider. He said Friday to give me until Monday to connect with him. We might need John to talk to Engineering too.

JNorris and PSJ thanks again for your perserverance on this project. It really looks like we're going to finally wheels that will work on our cars at a reasonable price.

Nice

Do you have pics of the face of the wheel? Is the barrel diameter much different if at all?

The picture of the face of the wheel is posted here:

All pictures of the wheel can be viewed here: There are two pages.

Yes the barrel of the 15x9 is less in diameter than a 15x8.5 or 15x7.5 when measured at the same location up off the rear of the center hub

So these really aren't a lot heavier than Bogarts. Maybe 2-3 pounds heavier.

Any idea on special LS1tech pricing? Or even general price? Will places such as Summit or Jeg's carry them?

I'm wondering the same thing. 6.5" wouldn't be bad at all.

I talked to Centerline, and engineering had not gotten back to marketing yet. He sais this week.

AFAIK, this prototype wheel is not in the system. I asked them if they had a part number yet and he said no.
