As promised, pics. I will say that these adapters are very high quality, I had absolutely NO fitment issues, and install/ease of use is amazing. The ride quality is not changed, there's no vibrations, noises, anything. The money is well sapent, IMO, and the peace of mind associated with it is priceless. Plus, they got here in two days

Anyways, I apologize for the lack of quality. It's overcast outside, the car hasn't been done up in a week or so (so no tire shine, etc.). But it gives a general idea. Also forgive my off-road appearance, but the car was lowered and it not only make my traction worse, my duals hit EVERYTHING

Just refresher info:
2006 Corvette Z51 polished wheels
Front are 18x8.5 w/ 245/40/ZR18s
Rear are 19x10 w/ 295/35/ZR19s

I'm probably start another thread just for the pics so people don't have to dig through the tech info to find the pics.

They work perfect. I've hit bumps/potholes (******* taxes going where again?), taken on-ramps at 70mph, and cruised home doing 140+ this morning from work, and everything is as stable and vibration-free as stockers.

Definitely a worthwhile investment!

i have skulte adapters on my car. i widened my ws6 wheels to 11'' out back and the adapters have been flawless. i've only got about 400rwhp, but i've torn into it plenty of times and they've never even so much as loosened any on me. you'll be happy with your purchase

I though everyone knew the deal on the OEM C6 rims. There was a bunch of discussion on fitting them around this time last year.

Obviously everyone didn't know, and a search for "C6 rims" and "C6 wheel fitment" came up with nothing about the OEM 19s.

What part of my previous posts don't you comprehend? None of my search terms included "79mm", as a matter of fact had I know what the offset was (which the search didn't pull up posts with that info either), then maybe I'd have found my answer.

Yeah, I say so.

FYI: ls1tech searching does not include words less than 3 characters long.
Try searching for C6 and you will see.
Thanks for posting this because I just bought a set like yours for my '00 Z28 Vert and I knew it needed spacers and I knew about skulte.com because I own lots of 3rd gens but I did not know what size spacers were needed.
Good job on the write up.

Yeah, I say so.
Why does someone with your experience (running 500 + HP) try to fit wheels to a vehicle without knowing the offset? I'm also disappointed in NTB for not telling you. They should have that on file if they deal with the C6 Vette. On these rims (And most others) I'm pretty sure I saw the offset stamped on the back of the wheel. I installed some Comp Grey OEM C6 rims on my TA last year-I wish I had seen your post when it first came up I would have chimed in.

I went to ebay did a search, emailed the company for their suggestion-and got the 1.25 inch adapters for the rear delivered in short order. been rolling ever since. But rule one no matter how cheap the price on the wheels is to find the specs. If you don't you could spend a significant amount of the money you thought you'd saved just trying to get them to fit.

I made the mistake of assuming that if the 18s fit all the way around, the 19s would as well. I may have plety of experience with our vehicles, but mostly in the mechanical/electrical side of things and marginally in the "looks" department.

Yes, if many people had seen my post first, it would have saved me some headaches and beating on my car. **** happens, we just learn from it. However, if someone in my place searches now, they'll come up with this thread and learn a lot. The benefits of people's experiences like mine and some others in here.

Thanks for the help from everyone. Better late than never, and I've learned a lot as well.
