for a subtle look, I like factory painted SS or C5 rims.
Black chrome SS rims would be super tight.
Money no object - FM5s, satin.

I was looking through my collection of pewter cars and saw a really horrible combo. They put the anodized blue 30th TA rims on it ...ugghhh.

It was a satin finish black. I couldnt decide on clear or flat, so I went in the middle. Also I had heard of the flat turning a little chalky with time.

Looks like the Breathless Perf kit.

Gunmetal and black work really well against pewter. Chrome looks good too, but IMO you have to get the right style of wheel for it to work. With the black, you can get a Z06 style, Y2k/FM5 style or a fatter spoke AR Rebel style and they'll all work really well.

I've decided not to go with the z06 style because they are to many people with them out there. Walking into class today there was a black ws6 in the parking lot with them on. Thats why I think its going to be zr1 black or c6 black I can't decide
