nitto 555r vs ET street RADIAL
is either tire better? i have been told that the nittos take a long time to get warm, but once they do they hook very well. i havent heard much about the et street radials because no one around here is running them. is one going to last longer than the other?

I ran Nittos last year and they hooked great. They were 275's. Have 315's this year and don't hook for ****. ran ET street radials last week and they hooked great!!! Nitto are very good street tires as well. Ran them in the rain and they did great. Not sure how the ET streets do on the road. Hopes this helps.

just like said...nittos are better on the street and will last longer on DDing...but ET's actually hook a lil better at the track...but unless your really hauling *** i wouldn't worry bout it...i had a buddy friday night cut a 1.7 60' and run a 7.46 1/8th mile with his 550 RWHP cobra on nitto 555's

I pulled a 1.63 on 275 nittos with a vig 3,200 and stock gears, just bolt ons, headers, and a tune.
After the cam a pair of 315 nitto's are useless.
For track purpose, get MT's or Hoosiers. For mostly street driven get nittos. Get a cheap pair of stock wheels for track tires.

ive already got plenty of extra wheels, and i have a set of 245/50/16 nittos, i had just thought of selling them to get some et street radials. we dont have a track within 100 miles anymore so i guess im just gonna stick with the nittos. thanks for the replies!
