Congrats John, I know how badly you have been wanting wheels and they flow pretty well with the car. I think you did quite well

Thanks Preston....I really like them. I have been waiting for quite some time now. The wife finally caved in

The fact that people continue to call them Mustang wheels really doesn't bother me. If they look good, which they do in my opinion, rock'em. Is it any different than putting Vette wheels on an F-body? The wheels are made by American Racing...not Ford

Unfortunately that is not possible at the moment. My car has been blended on the doors so needless to say, the moldings weren't taken off before hand. I tried pulling them and got about 12 inches when I realized it wasn't going to work.

Exactly!! And also American Racing is the one that came out with the original design in 1956...not Ford.

If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck,& quacks like a duck its probably a FORD WHEEL DESIGN ! A rose by any other name is still a (FORD WHEEL) rose! ~ Hey, yall want to ride around on FORD rims, thats ok with me.Its just that there are so many other good lookin wheels out there for maybe just a little more cash. It only cost a little more to go first class people!! Yall don't be so sensitive about it & get your panties all ruffled.

Let's see a picture of your car ls1wfo. It seems you have a lot of negative comments to make throughout your SHORT posting history, so lets see why you are so brash in your comments.

Pssst...everyone, I bet that ruffles his feathers

Yeah I was just thinking that. Where are the pics of his car?? Negative people not only harm themselves; they harm the world. They cease to make a contribution to it. Instead of helping, they spread gloom and misery everywhere.

I think your wheels look kick ***! They match perfectly.

To those that say they are Mustang wheels, those guys are just idiots. The design is inspired by Cragar S/S and early Torque Thrust styling, and didn't appear on a Mustang until the late 90's. Maybe these idiots are just showing their young age or lack of knowledge on ponycar heritage. In fact, these wheels can also be compared to early '70s CAMARO wheels. Pics of a '73 Z28 attached. Yes, we all know that the Bullitt Mustang and late model Mustangs have similar styled wheels, but they aren't "Mustang" wheels. They are retro style wheels, and Ford was just smart enough to include them.

I really wish Ford wouldn't have ripped the TT design from AR, but all I can think of when I see those wheels is "damn Mustang wheels." It sucks because it was such a classic design that Ford made insanely popular on the Mustang.

That deep dish looks good in the back, bro.

....the style was "insanely popular" LONG before Ford included them on any Mustang. You guys don't go to carshows enough, just about every other car on the lot has TT2 and Cragar styled wheels on it. They have ALWAYS been popular.

I just blame the fact that far to many people fail to understand the heritage. They only care about what they see RIGHT NOW... guh.
