Lost key
Lost key I completely lost the key for my lugnuts. I bought the lug-nut removal kit, a backwards threaded socket, but it wont fit on the lug nut. They lugs are recessed into the rim, AR Hopsters. Any ideas how to get the mother off.
I had this same problem, and with mine the only way I could get them off was to beat an 18mm socket on there good and hard with a dead blow hammer. Went through 3 sockets (all replaced for free, thank you Craftsman). They were Gorilla Locks though, so it may be a different situation.

Yeah what they said. Impact sockets are tougher, but if clearance between wheel and lug are close, then you'll have to use a standard socket. Go slow with the pressure as you try to turn it, till it breaks free. Good luck.
