Default For those with 18 inch ttII's!

I am buying a set for my 00 trans am, 18x8 and 18x10. If anybody is running this combo could you please tell me your offsets? I am having the body shop order them from discount or belle, and both the places just ask for the year and model car. Do you think theyll figure it out and achieve the look we all love on our cars?

i am going through a local dealer, belle tire, just because its an insurance thing, and the way i see it, they wont give me the difference if i save them money, so stick it to em lol. So you're going to be running 18x8's with the 5.25in bs and the 18x10's with the 7in bs? I would like mine to stick in JUST a little bit, a quarter of an inch really isnt anything, and if it doesnt look right, you can always throw and 1/8 inch spacer or so in between em.... BTW rocket, what color is your car? and what kinda car is it?

yes I know but that is a pretty wide assortment of numbers, i was just looking to ttII owners to make it so I KNEW they would look good, instead of sticking in tooo far or out too far, you know?

Doesn't matter what brand wheels they are. Offset = offset, width = width. These are universal measurements, not brand specific.

read the sticky threads.
Learn what "offset or backspacing" means.
look for the recommended values for your vehicle.
Order wheels with proper measurements.

This isn't difficult. The info is provided. We encourage people to learn here, so they don't need to be spoon-fed

Apologies, . Now, I have a 45mm offset on my fronts and a 44mm offset on my rear 17x9 and 17x10.5 TTM's. No grinding, no "fixing" of any sort. An offset like that would be awesome on your ride, especially 18's.

thank you, i did do the work before i asked, but i used backspacing as opposed the offset, i measured 7.25 for the 10inch wheel and 5.75 for the 8 inch wheel. They only make the 8 inch wheel with up to a 5.25 inch backspacing so thats what i bought. Hopefully the 7.25 inch backspacing will look good as well, i was told by another member that he has 7 inch backspacing and its right out by the lip, so mine will be in about 1/4inch obviously, i think itll look good, and if not, nothing a small spacer cannot fix....
