Default Offset Question

I am going to get some Z06 Motorsports tomorrow for my camaro in a 17x9.5. They are offered in +38mm and +56mm offsets. Which one is the correct offset for my car?

38mm is the early corvette offset. The front rub just a little backing up and turning just right. (atleast on my car 99Z) The rear are fine. They seat about an 1" farther out or so. I think they look better set out a little more. The 56mm is the "correct" offset. I would think about getting 56 frt and 38 rr. Can't rotate tires then, that's why I didn't. Thinking about DR for the back now so no tire rotation anyway.

your current rims are 56mm's 7X9's
