hey guys, yes the exact size is a 315/30/18 on c6 18x10.5 inch wheels. i think they are way better than nittos as well. they are directional, but do have a slick center patch in the middle. i do not have a 2 step in the car, i just held it at 4500 and let it dumped it pretty quick when the light turned, i didnt side step the clutch, just let it out fast. these tires also work amazingly well on the street, they hook just awsume.

Thank you for posting this thread. You just sold a pair of BFGs, lol. I'm sure these will help me with traction for my 315-35-17 Nittos just ain't holding like I had hoped. I plan to get the 255-50-15s for my prostars though.

i will post more pics up of the wheels on the car as soon as i take them. im glad this helped sell some tires for people. i just wanted everyone to know how well these tires hook. also, i got my tires from tirerack. they seemed to have the best prices for these tires.

I have 315 BFG DRs on a 17" rim but I can't get them to hook AT ALL from a dig and I'm not making anywhere near your power AND I have an A4!!!! Track or street.

My tread pattern is not the same as the ones pictured in this thread.

How much air are you running? Describe your burnout for me too .. please!!

I'm running 22lbs and tried launching stalled to 2200 and then tried right from the brake .. no joy. Best 60ft was 1.97XX

Awesome pic BTW!!!

hey guys, as far as the tread pattern not lookng the samei had noticed something. if you go on tire rack and look these tires up the pattern that is on the outside if these tires, goes all the way to the center, back to the other side, it doesnt have the solid patch in the cetner like the pic of Black98Z28 tires. my tires look the same as his. i realized that the center depending on how wide you go is different. i think if you got a 255 which is much skinnier, you will have that pattern all the way across, then the wider you go from there you start to get the solid center. and the wider you go, the wider the solid patch gets. thats what i realized with these tires, they arent like the nitto, with them or most tires, it doesnt matter how wide they are, the tread pattern is the same no matter what.
as far the the tire pressure and burnout, i ran 16psi.
i was told you have to get these tires hot to stick good so thats what i did and it worked. I would roll through the water till i was out and the guy told me to stop, then i put the line lock on, 1st gear was all i used, 2nd mght have worked better and got them hotter but i only used 1st. i dumped the clutch and held it a litle below 4grand for 6 seconds, then turned off line lock and brought it to almost 5 grand and drove it out till i hit the track and you can feel the car shot forward a bit cause its hitting the sticky part, then i just rolled up to the lights, stagged, once i was staged, put it in first is brought it up to 4500 and once the lights went jsut let the clutch out as fast i could without sidestepping it. that was what i did. hope this helps out. any other questions ask away.

I might need to get some 315-30-18 BFG drags in the future. I'm not sure how 430 rwhp and 4.10 gears will go with nittos. What kind of mileage are you guys getting out of these?

I hate to do it, but I'll be the first to call BS.

Lets see some other pictures or videos of the car standing up on 18" drag radials - that one looks like a cheap photoshop to me.

ok thats not a problem, that pic was of me launchin at 4500 hookin real well. i have another pic of me launchin at 5000, which was too much and i was spinning the tires but the front wheels still came off the ground, not as much because the tires were spinning, but they still came off. i have a video of the first pic, i actually took that pic out of the video, with some program that i have, i would post the video but its too big, its like 130 meg, so i dont have anyway to host it. but heres the other pic

Fair enough. Thanks for shutting me up. Lifting the 18s with 18" BFG's and a 6spd is truly incredible.
