Default MT Drag radials:325/50 vs 275/60??

Do you think there is much performance difference between the two? I just ordered a brand new set of the 325/50s and have them in the garage. Well, after I received them I found out that the local track will be having a King of the Street series next year and the class that my car fits in is limited to a 275 tire. I really wanted to use the 325s but I hate to not race in this series since the track is like 5 minutes from my house

huge difference imo. my best was a 1.47 60' on the 275 and i could never hit them hard out the hole. the 325 i hit them with slightly less power on the transbrake and went 1.39 on my shakedown run.

teh two can not be compared.

That is what I thought and the sucks because I want to run this series but I want to be able to hit them hard....I may have to buy another set of back wheels and just have both sets.
