Trans Am's have slightly larger fender wells than Camaro's, you should be fine.

On a side note a 305 on a 9.5" rim is CRAZY man!! 285 tops.

Those offsets for a TA should be fine. I have 38 mm all aound on my Cmaro, and since the wheel wells of the TA are a tad wider, you should be golden.

A 245/40ZR18 front and a 275/35ZR 18 or 285/35ZR18 rear would be perfect.

I do not recommend a Pro-Kit, especially on a Convertible. Too low in the back. Hotchkis 1" drop would be perfect.

If I can get away with a 10.5" wide wheel, with a 38 mm offset, and 295 series tires on my Converitilbe SS, I don't see how a 9.5" wide, 35 mm offset with a 275/35ZR18 would be a problem, especially on a TA. But you may have to roll the quarter lip. I did.

I have 18 X 8.5 front and 18 X 9.5 Rear both on -35mm offset. 245/40s in front and 295/35 in rear. Stock ride height Camaro. I had to roll the rear fenders.

They fit perfect. Tires tuck into the fenders by less that a 1/4 inch.

DO it!
