The rears on DJ's car were SJM drag wheels and the fronts were road race wheels just like the set up I run on my car on the street. Although mine is not a DD it sees enough miles. Good looking pictures Jason we need to finish the install of the other parts.

I still want to know how it behaves on the street? Like is handling affected? I don't need extreme handling, but I want good enough for a daily driver...

I don't have any issues with handling and/or braking. Daily driven wouldn't be an issue besides cleaning polished wheels. If you want you can always make the front rim stock width.

Just ordered mine from Steve at SJM yesterday exact same set up.

Any color pics yet? Need some pics to look at while I wait for mine to be built.

Also what did you do for lug nuts where did you get em and how much.
Thanks,
Dave

Fo shizzle.

I was thinking about ordering a set, then Steve says that they can do a custom 12 bolt rear end also that would allow me to have a real deep dish. I figure if it's worth doing then I might as well do it right, so I'm going to save up some dough and do it.

If I had the money for a rear right now I'd be having SJM build it and shorten it to fit some serious 3" dish on those things in the back

Yea I spoke to him also, excellent person to deal with, nice as can be. I would love to do the same thing as you order the rear and rims together and narrow it so I could get a sick looking lip. I just wish I had the extra money for a rear.

Sorry no color pics yet due to the car being down and full of dust. But, on a positive note, It will be done soon. I used discount tire chrome lugnuts ( factory length) .25 cents each.
