considering ive driven on both, i say Nitto for daily.. M/T are not very practical for DD, i would not feel comfortable driving on the M/Ts in the rain.

but on the other hand. Traction wise, M/Ts **** on Nittos.

Depends what you mean about not practical. Personally i dont drive much in the rain, yea i get caught in it once in a while. I have another car for crappy weather. If its your only car and you put on tons of miles and dont care if you lose races cuz of crappier tires buy nittos. Yes they wear faster but they hook way better. So if you dont plan on driving in the rain a lot of the time or dont mind spending more for better performance go MT's.
Just like big cams arent practical for daily driving, sure they are.
Usually you sacrifice some things for performance.

Nittos handle alot better then M/Ts as well. Just look at the tread pattern. What you see is what you get.

where i live, rain is something that happends frequently. I know driving my car, id feel safer on a Nitto.

Thankfully i have 2 sets of wheels. My stockers have the M/Ts, and ive got 315 sumicrapos for DD

I get a fair share of rain here in the desert of WTX and ice. I drive to work in all weather. I dont expect any DR to be able to tread water. SO I went for traction. If you live where it rains like Seattle, then something with good tread is better. Same here on the Sumicraps for winter.

I'm on my second set of nitto's I got 10k on my first set! I would have gotten mickey's if I had a better rear end but the mileage just isn't as good ~3k miles vs 10k $$$$
