Do You Clean The Inner Barrells of Your Wheels? Just curious who cleans the inner barrells of their wheels and who doesn't. Vote or DIE? 
If you do clean them, what do you use as far as products and tools go?
In the past I never have. You never see in there really and it just hasn't been needed before. I've got some very nice wheels for the GTO now and think I need to keep it clean in there. Need to know what to use as far as products and/or brushes/rags/elbow grease goes. Thanks.

If your wheels are off, bust out some bulk Simple Green. Get a big bucket and put a wheel with soem green/water mix in, wash and your done. I tried it on one of my old stockers, **** works like a charm.

I only used to clean the inside if I had the wheels off the car for some reason now I'm more aware of how they look and will try and do it more often but not all of the time.

I clean and polish the barrels as you can see them with the wheel design, If I had some mesh designed wheels then I would only clean them once a year or so.
The barrels did not come polished so I used 600 and 1000 grit sand paper first then switched to buffing wheels and compounds to get the proper shine. For clean-ups Simple Green works good to clean and Mothers Billet to polish.

SSLS1, those are some clean rims! I have been thinking to take off my wheels and have an extravaganza one day, but just havent goten around to it. I need to find some brake pads that dont suck and dont put out much dust.

When I had my TT IIs done in a custom gunmetal they were gonna do the barrels but ran out of color and i ran out of time so I gots to polish em
